Social meetings events & field trips

Our members only Annual Christmas Party/Break-up has been planned for the 14th December, details and registration sheet is in the club room next to the Attendance record.  We will have a private room and bar, as such the room is limited to 40 people so please add your name to the list if you wish to attend. ONLY 9 PLACES LEFT AVAILABLE FOR THE ROOM, if we overrun on numbers you can have a table in the Bistro area and join us in the room for drinks after eating. Looking forward to seeing you all there!!

Christmas Closure Dates Released

The Management Committee has decided the festive season closure period for the Club, dates are advertised in the Clubhouse.

It has been another busy year for all our Workshop managers and we would like to express our gratitude to them for their efforts throughout the year as they are the backbone of our Club and work tirelessly to ensure that our members enjoy and flourish in their chosen Workshops. WELL DONE TO ALL OF THEM, please pass on your own personal thanks when you see them next.

We would like to wish all members a safe and Merry Christmas and New Years celebrations. Hopefully you have achieved a number of goals at the workshops you have attended throughout the year and we look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN 2026?

2026 is a big year for the Rockhounds as it is the Club's 60th Anniversary, the management committee is busy planning events, if you have any ideas to contribute about an event you would like to see then let a committee member know so it can be discussed.

Workshops

Workshops except beading are continuing- see timetable 

 

Prepaid Workshop cards are now available, everyone who are already using these are enjoying the freedom of not having to find change each week to attend their workshops, and you get your 11th attendance free. WIN / WIN!!

See your Workshop manager's or Committee member to get one.

 

​​Membership Renewals​

A reminder that membership fees are due end of February and any fees paid after 1 April will incur a $10 joining fee and participation in workshops may be denied

GEM FAIR 

Our annual Gem Fair was held on 1 & 2 November 2025 at the club rooms. Our next Gem Fair will be on the 7th & 8th November 2026 so put the date in your calendar now. Club volunteers are always a valuable resource and no time is more important than helping out at our main Club annual event, so consider WHERE YOU can be of assistance at this time.
